Reusable ideas from our public WeChat writing, product experiments, customer questions, and growth diagnostics. Practical, operator-focused, and tied to data, workflows, agents, and lifecycle systems.
Before AI changes a marketing workflow, define evidence, exact approval, stop conditions and recovery. A practical guide using synthetic examples.
Every chart is correct and the meeting still ends without a decision. The gap is not data quality; it is that the report was never tied to a decision. Four checks, one template, and a pre-publish checklist.
Sales marks the leads that are actually usable, uploads that mark as the primary conversion, and sends it in the required format. The rest is matching the person to the click and running that upload as a fixed process.
The store order is the real sale. Meta, Google Ads, and email can each count that same order, so the purchase total can be higher. That is often not over-reporting. Do not add the counts. If they exceed every store order, check a duplicate send.
Treat a sudden conversion-rate drop as an incident signal, not a diagnosis. Freeze the metric, locate the affected cohort and earliest funnel break, then run one bounded validation.
Recheck contact eligibility, cart, delivery, payment, order state, and obstacle ownership before another abandoned-cart message.
Repeat views show behavior, not the missing answer. Trace each consequential product promise from its exact object to evidence, limits, owner, expiry, checkout, and support.
Why upload and approval do not prove product understanding or traffic—and how to trace offer identity, processed data, eligibility, and delivery safely.
A practical way to distinguish platform relevance from a customer's actual task, verify the click and conversion evidence, and route one bounded correction to the right owner.
Trace platform ROAS through canonical attribution, mature order and SKU contribution, cohort payback, payouts, inventory, and working capital before approving the next spend band.
When ecommerce ad costs rise, verify conversion truth, find the earliest supported break across demand, delivery, page, checkout, and valid orders, then authorize one bounded action.
When acquisition, conversion, and retention all look weak, contain material harm, establish decision-grade facts, find the current constraint, and authorize one bounded action.
When Ads, site traffic and Email all show activity but orders do not follow, verify the evidence, locate the earliest observable break and give one owner the next validation.
Diagnose high email open rates with weak sales by tracing eligible recipients through delivery, credible action, orders, attribution, incrementality, profit, and relationship guardrails.
Review Welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, and winback email Flows by customer job, evidence, handoff, and outcome.
Flow entry is historical qualification, not continuing permission. Recheck purchase state, lifecycle ownership, relationship boundaries, contact pressure, and message freshness before every consequential action.
Move beyond static ecommerce labels. Use consent, reachability, lifecycle state, recent signals, message purpose, and contact pressure to decide who should enter a customer path now.
For cross-border ecommerce teams, email automation works when customer state, behavior signals, entry rules, branches, content, CTAs, and review metrics operate as one next-step system.
Traffic does not mean customer ownership. Email automation turns Shopify behavior into segments, lifecycle flows, content, recommendations, and attribution feedback.
